Kubernetes Engineer (f/m/d)

Fully remote or hybrid

For a wide range of IT projects, we are looking for an experienced Kubernetes Engineer (f/m/d) to join us at the earliest opportunity, someone with a passion for designing, implementing and evolving stable, high-performance platforms for our customers. You can expect a diverse range of responsibilities with plenty of room to grow. And whatever you don't know yet, your experienced colleagues will be happy to teach you.

Your tasks & topics

  • Building and operating XaaS platforms for a wide variety of customers in our data centers and public clouds
  • Supporting the design of modern platform architectures and the migration of existing customer systems
  • Working closely with platform, infrastructure and security teams to optimize performance, reliability and security
  • Building and operating applications and services in our customers' automated DevOps environments
  • Implementing customer-specific requirements and services (e.g. RabbitMQ, Redis Cluster, Kafka Broker, Keycloak)
  • Evaluating new tools and technologies around containers, cloud and automation to continuously improve our platforms

What you bring to the table

  • Experience with highly available cloud architectures and technologies (PaaS, CaaS & SaaS) in production, as well as with modern toolsets for cloud and container orchestration
  • Deep understanding of the Kubernetes stack and container orchestration
  • Confident use of IaC tools such as Terraform or Ansible
  • Experience with GitOps workflows (e.g. ArgoCD) and CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab CI)
  • Understanding of compliance, security & observability
  • Enthusiasm for cloud-native technologies and enjoyment of complex customer environments
  • German language skills at C1 level or above and English at B2 level
