Career
Come for the technology. Stay for the people.
Who we are
DG-i was founded in 2003 by Andreas Dembach and Manon Goo as a result of a consulting project and has been an owner-managed company ever since. We value healthy growth and unbureaucratic structures. This enables us to make quick and agile decisions.
We are all inventors and doers – even those who do not work in the technical field. We are not a homogeneous mass, but a team of different characters who accept each other and value diversity.
Quality always comes first – but that doesn't mean wanting to change everything fundamentally, but rather always finding the best possible solution.
Innovative projects, trying out new things, and always moving forward technologically are essential aspects of our work. It's fun and gives us a lot of creative freedom.
What we offer you
We value
Healthy and relaxed working
Feelgood is not just a buzzword for us – thanks to heavily subsidized membership in the Urban Sports Club, joint sports activities, team events, electrically height-adjustable tables, office foosball, accident insurance, our pension gap provision fund, and much more.
Technologies
We love working on and with cutting-edge technologies and live by the open source philosophy! Whether through exchanges with large communities, space for our own or joint projects, sponsorships, or mentoring start-ups — we are committed.
Flat hierarchies
At our company, no one defines themselves by their job title or career path – instead, skills, expertise, and a willingness to learn are highly sought after and valued. Here, you will find competent, reliable, and friendly colleagues who pull together, share knowledge, and don't think they are rock stars. Instead of micromanagement, we rely on trust and freedom of decision.
Work-life balance
Standard for us: in addition to the option of working completely (or partially) remotely, family-friendly working time models, and our location directly on Friesenplatz with all kinds of shopping and restaurant options within walking distance, we also offer 30 days of vacation and a work-free Rosenmontag.
Education and training
We train and promote individual development through hackathons, workshops, training courses, and conference participation.

There are interesting, varied, and challenging tasks here, coupled with DG-i's strong focus on open source technologies, which makes it an ideal working environment for me. Thanks to the excellent support and regular communication within the team, I was able to quickly find my feet. Even outside of working hours, there is plenty on offer here with regular and unusual team events.
Despite the unusual circumstances caused by the pandemic, my remote onboarding went very well. Thanks to the personal mentoring and the open and friendly communication culture, I quickly settled into the team.
