Linux System Engineer (w/m/d)

After structured training, you can expect a wide range of tasks related to the operation and further development of modern Linux infrastructures. You will work on exciting customer projects, take responsibility for system setups, and contribute your ideas to the further development of our private and hybrid cloud environments—and your experienced colleagues will be happy to teach you anything you don't know yet.

Your tasks & topics

• Operation, administration, and further development of Linux and application systems
• Installation, configuration, and support of applications and services (web, databases, etc.)
• Setting up and maintaining container environments (e.g., with Docker and Kubernetes)
• Automating recurring tasks using configuration management tools
• Analyzing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning system and platform components
• Supporting the implementation and transition of new services into productive operation

What you bring to the table

• A completed IT training or degree in computer science or comparable practical experience.
• Good knowledge of Linux administration (e.g., Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, or BSD).
• Initial experience with container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, or similar)
• Ideally, experience with configuration management and automation (Ansible, Terraform, or similar)
• Enjoy working with open-source technologies, monitoring, and complex system landscapes
• German language skills at C1 level and English language skills at least at B2 level
